**The Dunes is the only local field open 12 months of the year. We can give excellent service down to -15C. Canadian bodies thrive on cold weather -the Dunes has developed a cold weather paintball system that brings paintball equipment up to Canadian standards!
**All Dunes bookings are exclusive; your group isn't mixed with other groups or with walk-on players. You know everyone you are playing with because you invited them. We feel this approach is critical to assure a Great Outing! If there is a young player in your group, you know that he or she is not going to be confronted by some unknown older player with a 20 shot per second gun.
**Although we do not allow walk-ons, we do go down to groups as small as six players and our automated game systems and self serve feature provides excellent prices even at this group size. Thus, even birthday groups of 6 players get exclusive treatment.
**Our sliding "group discount" price system splits the dollar savings of larger groups with the clients. The larger your group, the lower the cost per player.
**All rental equipment for each player is identical, which is critical for a fair and fun outing.
**The Dunes is fully electrified, i.e. cold drinks, a full field PA and music system, dramatic night lighting, hot-water mask washing, a ball heater, and automated game systems.
**The Dunes uses "high pressure air" rather than CO2. HPA is unaffected by heat or cold. Ball velocity remains accurate regardless of air temperature or gun position. Guns work more reliably with HPA and ball breakage in guns is reduced. For the ecologically minded, we aren't adding to global warming by releasing CO2.
**The Dunes is relatively close to Saskatoon and is easy to find, on good roads. We are about 13 km SW from Circle Drive and 22nd Street, close to the Strawberry Ranch.
**The Dunes has a central Safe Zone, right in the center of the playing field. The Safe Zone has good weather protection and a steel fire pit. Groups often serve food while play is going on. The central Safe Zone is a vital part of a successful outing!
**All our masks have thermal lenses to reduce fogging problems. This is vital for night events.
**The Dunes has excellent pricing, especially given all the extras that we offer, and our ball prices provide you with paintballs at prices lower than Walmart and Canadian Tire.
**We offer true night time play with dramatic floodlighting and 40 foot tall light towers to reduce glare. We can offer service anytime in a 24 hour period if it is required! We have never had a group start before 9:00am nor end later than 5:00am, but try us!
**Our unique ball distribution system is accurate, efficient, fast, clean, and very popular with clients. Our punch card system and computer readout lets you know exactly what you have spent as the event progresses.
**Our field is provided with ideal forest terrain plus excellent obstacles that assure hundreds of hiding places for players. Even in spring and fall, when there are no leaves, there is excellent, closely spaced cover to hide behind.
**The Dunes is constantly adding features to make revisits exciting. Our goal is to make each visit unique and provide a 'new story to tell'.
