A portion of our profit comes from the sale of paintballs and just as bars and restaurants don't appreciate you bringing your own bag lunch and liquor, we appreciate if you buy your paintballs from us! To make it easier, we attempt to sell our paintballs for less than you are able to get any comparable paintballs for, anywhere else!
If you bring your own food, you are the one who has to eat it. Your smuggled paintballs are being used on our other clients, you aren't shooting yourself, and that is our big complaint.
We do not like to see outside paint being used and to lean on the matter a bit more, if you do insist on using outside paint, we charge $5.00 for the use of our high pressure air and we do not give the normal discount if clients are using their own gun, mask, and air cylinder.
Please consider how much you save by using your own paintballs. Our cash price of $3.50/100 for Draxxus Rainbow paintballs includes both PST and GST - if you find anything cheaper than that, it isn't going to be much cheaper and I think it is safe to say that there will be a quality problem - either a weak shell or a thick shell. ($3.50/100 after taxes = $3.07/100 before taxes)
In the summer of 2004 we had a few situations of clients using super cheap Zap balls. By the time we hit the players with our air fees and no "equipment discounts", their "savings" disappeared and we make far less than we would have had they purchased our paint. A more important problem is that other players complain that the cheap Zap balls hurt far more than the higher end Draxxus Rainbows that we sell. The cheap balls simply have thicker shells that are easier and cheaper to manufacture. The players who have been good enough to buy our paint take the beating of getting hit by the cheap paint. If such paint shows up at the Dunes, expect TROUBLE. Again, our current ball price is 3.5 cents per ball including taxes!
In summary, we appreciate clients using Merrill Dunes paintballs! And on our end, we will keep pushing to provide maximum value for your total expenditure!
