Merrill Dunes
We had the pleasure of hosting the Saskatoon Blades on September 28, 2026, just after they pulled off two wins on the 25th and 26th. Great group of young men and a pleasure to rub shoulders with them. The Blades were followed up by the U13AA Martensville Marauders and hung out so they could greet the young players as they arrived. A really good flow of events! We will have a video coverage of the Blades visit shortly with ground shots, drone shots, and first person coverage via a camera system mounted on the laser guns of two of the Blade players. Should catch some of the excitement!
For now, just a few quick snap shots of the event.
Our Step by Step Game is a high intensity thriller and actually securing a point is a major achievement. Here are three achievers!
Search and Rescue is a complex challenge. Here Team Gold figures out how to minimize the time needed to rescue Gerry, the Merrill Dunes Hostage who has been kidnapped and rescued at least a 100 times.
Brayden swoops in, makes a save, and puts Team Blue on the path to a goal, in the Merrill Dunes HEAT Game. (Hockey Equivalent Action Tag)
A shot of the HEAT wireless controller which will be replaced shortly with the hard wired control panel shown below. Looks like Team Blue was in control on the game panel when the photo was taken.
A Merrill Dunes Original for Canadian Players! Heat is intense and burns up energy on par with its winter time equivalent - as in ice hockey.
An honor to have the Saskatoon Blades test out our Hockey Equivalent Action Tag System!
