For the third year running we had the pleasure of attending the Harbour Landing Village Country Jamboree. Where else does a Mechanical Bull end up at a Seniors' Residence! From 11:00am to 7:00pm, Tauker, our longhorn bull didn't stop generating "The Thrill"! Janson Anderson, is not only the CEO of the Village, but he is a showman and an organizer and the Jamboree is indeed an "Experience"! Janson rode, for a short time, the bull, and inspired the masses by posting his exit on social media. Did he last 8 seconds? Close, I am sure, and, as with the dozens of other riders, there was no need for the rodeo clowns to protect him from crushing hooves nor sharp horns! But who doesn't dream of having the courage of a man who is Cowboy to the Core, and here is one of the few spots where the dream can be "sort of" fulfilled. Tiny cowboys and cowgirls included! In our visits to the Village, we have seen a lot of smiling faces, both of riders, and parents, and grandparents, and great grandparents. Janson brings the excitement to the Village Residents. Good times for everyone! If we had a dollar for every cell phone video minute, we would be rich. Riders can talk to the "brain of the bull", and request calm or frisky performance. I told one small gal that Nelson would keep Tauker on slow for her and she indignantly informed me that she wanted to go Fast. She got her wish and she knew her stuff - hung on to that hide like a pro!
