THE MECHANICAL BULL
Tauker, the Mechanical Bull, is waiting for you in his corral!   He is located at Field 3, which you pass on the way to the main paintball/laser parking lot.  You won't miss his red and white canopy and kiosk!

He has a remarkable action and when the operator turns up the volume, his bucking and twisting action is far greater than any rider is be able to handle.  He is one powerful Animal with a 3 horse power heart!  But in the right hands, he can be so gentle that a small child can ride him!  What an Animal!

The picture on the left was simply of a test run.  Speeds were kept slow as no one wanted to come off but when you have a toy like this one, you just have to try it!

We call the bull "Tauker".  You can shout at him in English or French but don't expect him to taulk back in anything other than body language!

The air cushion that is missing in the photos is two feet thick plus there is an inflated fence around the perimeter.  Those mean looking horns are really soft rubber, and the bull freezes once the operator takes his hands off the controls.  So "Tauker's" frightening looks are worse than the soft impact you feel when he sends you flying!

Geo M has always dreamed of being a cowboy - what guy hasn't!  Now he has a toy that lets his dream move a bit closer to reality without getting kicked or stepped on by a hoof!

See lower on the page for photos of Tauker in action at his Corral at the Merrill Dunes 3rd Field.

Merrill Dunes actually has two longhorn bulls.  If Tauker isn't mean enough for you, perhaps we can line up a ride on Kiro!  Kiro started his life as a calf roping target - as a result, he doesn't seem to have much liking for two legged creatures - my advice - stick with riding Tauker!

Tauker's barn.

Here we have the crew arranging Tauker's corral for his first bucking session.

Do you detect a smug look in Tauker's eye?

Again, there is something about the bit of expression you can see on Tauker's face that let's you know that he does not expect to lose a contest!

Tauker arrived in the early spring and we had to give him a run before we were able to assemble his safety air cushion.

Janine rides Tauker just before she heads off on the next stage of her life as a interning nutricianist.  Janine was great to have on staff for the last four and a half years.  We will miss her and many of our clients will feel the same.  But people somewhere will be eating better because of her efforts!
